Description:
After World War II, European leaders gathered from time to time to discuss pertinent European problems. The European Council played pivotal roles in evolving regional cooperation into a formal institution, the European Union (EU). With the ratification of the Libson Treaty, the European Council became an official EU institution. The world awaits for European leaders to collectively restore their confidence in the EU.
