\nSecretary-General<\/strong>: Ashley Skladany<\/strong>
\n<\/span>Ashley Skladany is a senior at Seton Hall majoring in Political Science and History with a minor in Diplomacy and International Relations. Now in her third year on Secretariat, she is honored to serve as Secretary-General and give back to the Model UN community that has helped her grow in confidence\u2014hoping to create the same experience for our high school delegates. Ashley has also been competing on the collegiate Model UN circuit since her freshman year. But outside the world of MUN, she works at the Seton Hall Archives, is a sister of Alpha Omicron Pi, and is also a part of the University\u2019s Leadership Institute and Honors program.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\nDirector-General:<\/strong> Qing Leasure<\/strong>
\n<\/span>Qing Leasure is a junior studying Diplomacy & International Relations and Mathematics. He served as Chief of Operations for SHUMUN XXVI and is the current Vice President of Seton Hall\u2019s Model UN Association. He has participated in the collegiate MUN circuit since freshman year. Outside of MUN, he serves as Pershing Rifles Company K-8\u2019s S-3 in charge of operations and as a desk assistant for Seton Hall\u2019s Housing & Residence Life. He hopes to make SHUMUN XXVII the best conference yet!<\/span><\/p>\n

\nUSG of General Assembly:\u00a0Joseph Brennan<\/strong>
\n<\/span>Joseph Brennan is a senior at Seton Hall majoring in International and Homeland Security with minors in Data Analytics and Cybersecurity. This is his second year on SHUMUN Secretariat and he is happy to be serving as the USG of GAs once again. Joseph has been an active delegate on the collegiate MUN circuit. Outside of Model UN, Joseph is a member of the University Honors program, leadership institute, and Editor-in-Chief of The Diplomatic Envoy, Seton Hall’s foreign affairs newspaper.<\/p>\n

\nUSG of Crisis:\u00a0Ella DeGuzman<\/strong>
\nElla DeGuzman is a junior psychology major and has been involved in Seton Hall\u2019s United Nations Association since freshman year. She competed on the collegiate circuit in 2023 and 2024 and served as crisis director of the ad-hoc committee at SHUMUN XXVI. This year, she looks forward to serving as the USG of Crisis for SUMUN XXVII. Outside of Model UN, Ella does cognitive neuroscience research and is applying to med school, with hopes of a career in international and global health. She is excited to meet you and hopes to create an experience allowing you to grow in confidence and advocacy!<\/p>\n

\nUSG of Finance:\u00a0Zainab Pieh<\/strong>
\nZainab Pieh is a junior majoring in International Relations and Diplomacy with a minor in Asian Studies, and she has competed on the collegiate Model UN circuit for the past two years. She has participated in two SHUMUN committees and currently serves as the SHUNA Training Coordinator and DEI Officer. Outside of Model UN, Zainab is the President of the African Student Association and the Treasurer of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. She is passionate about global advocacy, leadership, and community-building. She is excited to meet you and hopes to create a space where delegates feel empowered to grow!<\/p>\n

\nChief of Operations and Logistics:\u00a0Elizabeth Denton<\/strong>
\nElizabeth Denton is a sophomore Diplomacy and International Relations and Philosophy double major, as well as a member of the university Honors Program.\u00a0 Going into her second year of Model UN she is looking forward to serving as Chief of Operations and Logistics for SHUMUN XXVII.\u00a0 In addition to Model UN Elizabeth is also active on campus in the Diplomatic Envoy, John Quincy Adams Society, and Pirates for Paws.\u00a0 She is excited to see all the creativity and imagination in this upcoming SHUMUN!<\/p>\n

\nUSG of External Relations: Maribel Grasman<\/strong>
\nMaribel Grasman is a sophomore at Seton Hall majoring in Diplomacy and International Relations with minors in International Business and Spanish. She is also a part of Seton Hall\u2019s Honors Program. This is her second year participating in Model UN, and she couldn\u2019t be more excited to take on the role as USG of External Relations at SHUMUN XXVII. Outside of MUN, Maribel is actively involved with Consult Your Community, Women in Business, and Seton Hall\u2019s competitive Model UN team. She is excited to meet everyone at SHUMUN!<\/p>\n

\nUSG of Marketing:\u00a0Allison Bennett<\/strong>
\nAllison Bennett is a sophomore majoring in Diplomacy, international relations, and philosophy with a minor in German. This is her second year with SHUMUN, serving as chair of DISEC the previous year and chair of the ADHOC this year! Outside of SHUMUN, Allison is a member of The Diplomatic Envoy, The John Quincy Adams Society, SHUNA and works in the marketing for the School of Diplomacy! She is excited to see what everyone thinks about SHUMUN!<\/p>\n

USG of Philanthropy and Events: <\/strong>Chase Finney<\/strong>
\n<\/span>Chase Finney, Under Secretary General of Philanthropy and Events, is a sophomore double majoring in Diplomacy, International Relations and English. Along with working to staff and run SHUMUN XXVII, Chase competes competitively on the collegiate circuit traveling as far as California and Canada to represent Seton Hall University. In addition to Model UN, Chase is editor for campus news for the Diplomatic Envoy and is a member of the John Quincy Adams Society at Seton Hall. As USG of philanthropy and events and Crisis Director for the Crisis Ad-Hoc, Chase is not only focused on creating an informative experience, but also a fun experience for all delegates and is excited to see the creativity of ideas shared over the course of the weekend. \u201cI can\u2019t wait to see and meet you all :D\u201d – Chase Finney\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
