Snow Day Sunday!

Dear delegates & advisors,

Due to the forecasted storm, Day 2 of SHUMUN XXVI will be held virtually. Here’s everything you need to know:

  • Here is tomorrow’s schedule. This schedule contains links to teams meetings for each committee as well as our College Q&A + Closing Ceremonies–also note that, since we are virtual, we have condensed the second part of the day slightly.
    • As long as the university doesn’t officially close campus, we are happy to help find space for delegates on campus if needed.
  • All crisis delegates should join this Slack workspace. Please ask them to set their display names as their position and committee. (Ex: “Queen Clarisse Renaldi (Ad-Hoc)). GA delegates will not need to do this.
  • If you have any other questions, let us know!

We know this is disappointing, but thank you all for working with us on this. We hope to see you all in person next year.

Best,

Catherine Anderson

Secretary General

AD-HOC REVEAL

Dear Delegates & Advisors,

We are so excited to announce that the background guide for this year’s Ad-Hoc is officially public! The committee will be modeled after Princes Diaries 2–the greatest film ever made.

Keep an eye on your emails for your delegates’ positions, and we can’t wait to see you all there!!

SHUMUN XXVI Committees are Live!

Dear Delegates and Advisors,

We are thrilled to announce that our committees for SHUMUN XXVI have been updated and posted to our website. We encourage all delegates and advisors to take a look and see what topics interest them.

Because of the success of SHUMUN XXV, we will be running 4 General Assembly Committees (one more than last year) and, for the first time since SHUMUN XIX, we will be offering a JCC committee.

Our secretariat and staff are so excited for this year’s committees, and our chairs and crisis directors are hard at work on background guides–we can’t wait to see you there!

If your school hasn’t registered yet, please do so as soon as possible by filling out this form–spots are first come, first serve, and we’d hate for you to miss what is sure to be another incredible conference!
